Handmade Bracelet COLORATISSIMO Silver
Handmade bracelet COLORATISSIMO Silver made with silver 925, Murano glass beads and semiprecious stones
Murano glass is glass made on the Venetian island of Murano, which has specialized in fancy glasswares for centuries. Murano’s glassmakers led Europe for centuries, developing or refining many technologies including crystalline glass, enamelled glass (smalto), golden glass (goldstone), multicolored glass (millefiori), milk glass (lattimo), and imitation gemstones made of glass. Today, the artisans of Murano are still employing these centuries-old techniques.
Murano’s reputation as a center for glassmaking was born when the Venetian Republic, fearing fire and destruction of the city’s mostly wooden buildings, ordered glassmakers to move their foundries to Murano in 1291. Murano glass is the largest proportion of Venetian glass.
Seedbeads or conterie are small, round beads. To produce this tiny bead, hollow tubes of colored glass are formed, then chopped and re-fired for smoothness and shade.
Silver is a chemical element with symbol Ag (from the Latin argentum, derived from the Greek “shiny” or “white”).
Where gold is the metal of the sun, Silver is the metal of the moon, and represents many of her energies. These gorgeous Silver Crystal formations were made in a laboratory, utilizing special techniques to grow a crystal from a silver “seed”. During the process the Silver is purified and grown into it’s natural crystal formation. With it’s reflective sheen, Silver mirrors the soul, bringing calm, peace and focus to those who use it’s metaphysical vibration. Silver is used to “draw down the moon”, allowing one to harness the Moon’s energy and protecting them from negativity.
Silver makes a wonderful energy shield, blocking out negativity from various sources.
